Catherine difundiu de forma criativa no agreste pernambucano seu conhecimento sobre tipografia. Seu primeiro ato foi na tarde dia 25 de outubro, ministrando a oficina &#8216;Lettres as Forms I&#8217; explorando a observa\u00e7\u00e3o de formas tipogr\u00e1ficas estimulando a aplia\u00e7\u00e3o de caracteres tipogr\u00e1ficos a m\u00e3o livre em grandes propor\u00e7\u00f5es, gerando resultados surpreendentes.<\/p>\n<p>No mesmo dia \u00e0 noite, Catherine ministrou uma palestra, onde com muitos exemplos demonstrou suas experi\u00eancias profissionais no audit\u00f3rio lotado por alunos e professores na UFPE em Caruaru. Ao final, diversas perguntas foram feitas, mostrando total sucesso do evento. No outro dia, Catherine ministrou sua segunda oficina, &#8216;Lettres as Forms II&#8217;, na qual novamente pode-se compreender o estudo no desenho de tipos, elaborando cartazes coloridos com peculiaridades no desenho de uma letra.<\/p>\n<p>No dia 27 de outubro, a passagem de Catherine Dixon pelo agreste pernambucano teve seu fim no ateli\u00ea do xilogravurista cordelista brasileiro. J. Borges em Bezerros. L\u00e1, corpo discente e docente da UFPE de Recife, Caruaru e da Faculdades Integradas Barros Melo-AESO participaram da oficina de xilogravura e impress\u00e3o. A aula foi conduzida com simplicidade e sabedoria, intercalada por causos e preciosas dicas sobre xilo.
